No subject

thus far is by compiling their own custom kernel.  I am used to the kernel 
accepting parameters such as nofb or vga=normal but neither seem to work. 
I don't mind compiling a custom kernel for my home machine, but for all of 
my systems at work, that would be a maintenance headache and so is pretty 
much out of the question as a solution.  I just wondered if any of you had 
noticed this or have any ideas.  Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
