Yeah, I'm guessing we could achieve cheaper than .79c per sheet even with the high price of Inkjet ink.
It is nice that you can keep upgrading between versions for worst cast scenarios, agreed, but I'd much rather have the latest version to install than two versions ago and then have to sit and wait for the upgrades to download.
Murphy's Law: When you tell someone "Oh, yeah, Beryl blows Vista's Aero out of the water! Here, let me show you some of what it does on this machine", Beryl will not be working.
I'll definitely advertise the video when I've figured out how to transcode and compress it.
Re: The Conference Pack. It's 4 Ubuntu t-shirts (1 XL, 2 L, 1 M), a couple packs of those red brochures, and a roll of stickers. If you can use them, they're yours. Maybe we should request a Conference Pack for ITEC so that we'll have one for the next Conference after that. ;-) Or maybe we should just request the Conference Packs more than a month ahead of time next time.
I figure the brochures will definitely last through various conferences; they don't go too fast. Depending on attendance, the stickers will go REALLY fast. The t-shirts are the really neat part, and they should be for LoCo team members who are manning booths at these conferences, I think.

In the future we could possibly print them ourselves (although inkjet
ink is extremely expensive) and possibly save money.

Feisty comes out a week from today (April 19 iirc) - CINLUG still has
plenty of Dapper and earlier disks to give out as well. The beauty of
Ubuntu and other Debian based distros is that you can install once and
upgrade forever via apt, aptitude, synaptic, etc.

Note: Once your demo machine is verified to work, don't change settings
;)

I'd like to see the video, especially since I missed most of the talk.

Heh - as I said at LinuxFest, CINLUG could probably use it at ITEC in
June unless there's another conference before then.
