I'm piping this e-mail from Jono Bacon onto our team's list from the loco-contacts list.
I'm a little too overwhelmed with stuff right now to sit and consider this, but I dump it in here for you all to consider and digest.
At first glance I think it's a nice idea, and I wouldn't mind signing up, but I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment; I would definitely like not to be the only person in Indiana on this list.
Back to the grind...

Subject: ALL TEAMS: Speaker Representatives
Hi all,
I often get emailed with requests for Ubuntu / Kubuntu / Edubuntu etc
speakers for different conferences around the world, and I often
recommend people I know from different LoCo teams.
I would like every team to discuss who are the best public speakers and
most available for these kinds of talks, and add their details to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamSpeakers - this way we can have a big
list of speakers in the Ubuntu community.
Before you add your speakers, bear the following points in mind:
- Don't add more than three speakers from each team, preferably only
one or two.
- Work together as a team to decide who is the most available and best
speaker. Those of you with previous speaking experience are recommended
to be added to the list.
Thanks!
Jono
