Jaunty Beta.   Atheros ar928x, and I believe it running off the same physical device as the bluetooth.  The wireless is nothing stellar, but Vista definitely reports better range/stronger signal.   The little blue light shuts down about the time X loads.

Windows then has to "repair" the wireless when it is booted.

When I was working in my Bash terminal entering things like iwconfig, etc, and using nothing but open source software, somehow Microsoft and some company called BSA spammed my terminal.  How did they do that?  Is this normal?  I can send you a copy of my Bash history if you don't believe it.

Thanks!

Howdy,

My name is Martin, and actually I live in North Carolina.  You're the nearest local group to my home.
I'd like to get a little more involved with the Ubuntu project, but I could use a little guidance.  I am having some wireless issues.   Also, I had something rather upsetting happen to me, and want to know what some more experienced people might think about it.

Thanks,

Martin
