It looks like you can use either pgdaminii or phpgadmin. On Gutsy I found
phpgadmin in the repos. Not sure what you meant by the above, but if
pgadminii is installed then it'll probably be best to stick with that for
now.

The next two steps are for postgresql which 7.04 should have in the repos.
This is a database I have never used. However, pg_hba.conf handles client
authorizations.

It looks like you need to set "auth-method" in the pg_hba.conf file to
"password". This should allow clear-text passwords.

The second configuration is in postgresql.conf and tells postgresql to
listen on all addresses; seems to be the default action so you may not have
to change anything here.
