I purchased the <a href="https://motoactv.com/">MotoACTV</a> a few weeks back. I don't even use the fitness apps on it. Since then I've rooted it and installed, google maps, snes/nes/sega/ emulators and roms, youtube, etc. It has bluetooth, GPS, and wifi. I use it to control the radios/televisions/ everything else with bluetooth in my house, and google maps via my wrist when I'm on my motorcycle (super convenient). Not only will you be able to track your kid but they'll be the coolest kid in school. <div>

Yes, there are products out there, but they're expensive and<br>
subscription based.  What I'm thinking is this.  I need a device,<br>
about the size of a watch, that's wifi enabled.  I can embed an app on<br>
it that will send a ping to a device on my local network.  That<br>
device, most likely will look like a linksys router with a speaker and<br>
a button.  If the receiver looses the signal for any amount of time,<br>
then an alarm will go off.  The button is for indicating that we're<br>
leaving the house and not to monitor until the child gets back into<br>
range.<br>

It's the "watch" that I need help with.  I know that there are SD<br>
cards that are wifi enabled.  Has anyone since something like a watch<br>
that's wifi enabled?<br>
