[ubuntu-florida] Ubucon @ Fossetcon 2014 September 11-13th Orlando, FL

Hello Folks,

So far the sessions booked/proposed for the Ubucon are:

Creating your first Ubuntu SDK Application 1.5 hours
Getting Started with Juju 1.5 hours
Giving Back: First steps to contributing to ubuntu 30 minutes

This gives you all a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes remaining for the
Ubucon.

A panel was proposed which could be an hour or so, but the panel title
would need to be submitted so that we can actually post the information on
it. Only 1 hour would need to be filled if we include the panel.

I truly believe that an intro to Ubuntu or something like tips and tricks
will be useful for folks that aren't as seasoned as many of the loco
members are. Remember this is for the community as a whole so those coming
in without prior knowledge should be considered. I just met one such new
user yesterday and he was raving about Ubuntu!

We also need to do a bit of outreach for the event. Jose has already done
some but we need a whole lot more for it to have the impact we all want.
We'd like to have the schedule locked down ASAP; this helps in promoting
the event.

I've pinged someone about getting the event posted on http://ubucon.org
hopefully it'll get there soon as well.
