Allow me to introduce myself....
My name is Charlie. I am a HAM Operator.
My main interest is Packet Radio - AKA Ax.25. I am a retired Air Force 
NCO with a degree in Computer Science and
over 20 years of experience in the field.

I have been working with the Fla Amateur Digital Communications Assoc to 
develop a State wide
Digital network.  To date we have installed over a dozen Packet Network 
Servers around the state.
The project started in 2004 as a Live CD install created from Knoppix. 
Two years later we realized that
the Live CD was too restrictive and switched to Kubuntu as the Disto of 
choice. A year later we dropped the GUI and deployed
Ubuntu Server editions.

I'd like to share my experience and spread the news and progress we are 
making with our Packet Servers.
