What is a Code Camp?
1.
A Code Camp is an off-hours forum for the development community to gather
and share ideas. It is organized for, developed by, and owned by the
developer community. It is always free to attendees, presenting
community-developed material. The event builds development and presentation
skills and encourages networking within the community.
Code Camp is a free day of learning, inspired by the original Camp
Manifesto <http://blogs.msdn.com/trobbins/archive/2004/12/12/280181.aspx>.
The Jacksonville Code Camp has traditionally been organized by the
Jacksonville
Developers User Group (JaxDUG) <http://www.jaxdug.com/>, coordinating
local and regional community speakers for a free day of training and post
event entertainment
