Scary news, it seems as though I'm hosting several Ubuntu boxes that are now able to mkdir 1 at the moment. Anyone else a little concerned about this?

I'm getting ready to remove the public access to these boxes, and get ready for fresh installs, but 2 of my 4 boxes that can make a directory with just a number don't even have Apache on them....or a Root password at that.
