[DC LoCo] ubuntu presence at CoderDojoDC a week from Saturday

Hey guys,


I think Kevin plans on coming out a week from Saturday (January 5) for the
first meeting of our http://CoderDojoDC.com kids programming club.

I have three laptops ready for three kids unable to bring their own, but
figured Kevin or anyone else, you're certainly welcome to speak a little
about Ubuntu, or just be on hand to support or maybe do a few installs on
some old laptops I'm bringing.

I'm sure everyone's seen this series: http://randall.executiv.es/tip6, but
just in case.  I love the emphasis on not selling Ubuntu in comparison with
Windows but just on its own merits as a solid OS.

I expect most of the kids will be bringing old PC's or Mac's, but if anyone
has any thoughts on promoting Ubuntu, the stage is yours!


btw a question: I have a dozen old laptops without pae cpu's and figured
option #2 here is my best option?
