[DC LoCo] Kernel question

I usually use Ubuntu Tweak's Janitor tool to remove older kernels when
an update is installed. The one time I didn't do that, my computer kept
crashing the desktop interface five minutes after logging in. Took me a
while to figure out I had to remove three older kernels on the system.
Once I did that, it ran smooth as butter.

Your problem is most likely different, though from your description.
