A website is designed with the end user in mind.  There's no reason a
user needs to know anything about the underlying technology.  The UI
is what the user sees, and the functionality of the UI (the way it
looks and whether it does what they want) is the most important thing
for a user.  It is not "sad" that they have no clue how it works.
