[DC LoCo] Chromium

Does anyone know the status of the Chromium build in ubuntu?  Has it
been abandoned?  I realize that the rapid release cycle of it makes it
difficult to keep up, but I've heard that it may be replacing Firefox
as the default browser.  Which doesn't bode well since keeping up with
Firefox seems difficult enough.

I've also noticed that the security vulnerabilities are stacking up in
both the version of Chromium and the version of FF in the
repositories.
