[DC LoCo] deb with /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list file in it

Hi,

Quick background: Sun Microsystems (SMI) developed a Java continuous integration (CI) application called Hudson.  Oracle bought SMI and for reasons I won't discuss here a fork of Hudson called Jenkins now exists.

Main issue: Jenkins has an APT repository.  One of the items in the jenkins deb package is the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jenkins.list file

$ dpkg -L jenkins | grep jenkins.list
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/jenkins.list

How do people feel about this practice?
