[DC LoCo] Sound diff in Gnome vs. LXDE (caused by not mounting?)

There are helper utilities in GNOME that handle automount. They don't run by
default in LXDE. You can probably kickstart them by executing nautilus from
within the LXDE session. There is no need to issue the mount command.
