Sounder's status as a troll pit and giant pile of flamewars was
discussed for months before it was finally shut down for being
completely unable to abide by the Code of Conduct.

The LoCo reapproval process is a well-established thing. We got
reapproved before and that turned into about 3 months of us actually
meeting regularly, then we went back to only seeing each other at
Takoma Park Folk Festival. I hadn't realized that was a full 2 years
ago though!
