Personally, I'm always running the development version so I can't give
you personal anecdotes of running Firefox 6 on Lucid, but you should
be fine with that PPA. I believe Ubuntu will have to release the new
Firefox versions for Lucid too once Mozilla gets tired of supporting
Firefox 3.6 which won't be far away.

Firefox 6 isn't bleeding edge. There are only 2 supported stable
versions: 3.6.20 and 6.
