[DC LoCo] Wubi - good enough yet for perminant install along side windows?

I read that Wubi should be used for temporary install. Is that still the case? Why? 
In the past, with previous versions of Ubuntu, I used it for a long time, and had no issues at all....until the day that I did. 
And when I did have that issue, I lost everything. 

So, is Wubi now stable enough for this to be used for a permanent install? Thanks, Christian
