Further, adding PPAs increases the attack surface non-trivially,
because we don't ship a default pin-priority configuration that sets
everything in the one officially blessed Ubuntu pool to be the "good"
ones.  A simple monotonically-increasing version scheme wins, so
something like the recently-fixed base-files in lucid could be
leveraged for evil.  :-(
