Most of the BBC integration built into various Ubuntu apps is
virtually useless to users outside of the UK.  Regional licensing
serves no purpose but to limit your audience and does nothing,
absolutely nothing, to stop piracy.  If anything, restricting media to
specific geographical regions ENCOURAGES piracy.
