[DC LoCo] sweet laptop for putting ubuntu on - $199 compaq with wifi/cdrw

thanks for asking, sanjay.  i currently don't have a spare $200 i can
allocate, but i do have a spare $50.

     also, in the spirit of ubuntu, i like exploring ways we can embark on
collective action that advances ubuntu.
