hi ubuntistas,

i was at the rockville microcenter store this morning and spotted a
wireless optical mouse selling for $10. the packaging says it works
with windows 2000 and xp.

"that sucker probably works with ubuntu," i mumbled to myself. sure
enough, it does.

the full name of the product is U-Navigator Wireless Optical Mouse,
made by Inland Products Corporation. it's even got a scroll wheel.
mouse resolution is 800 dpi.

it was a little difficult sliding open the cover to put in the
batteries, but the "set up guide" on the company's web site helped
me figure things out. i ought to make an ogg theora video showing
how to slide open the cover of the mouse. it's not all the
difficult, but seeing it done makes it that much easier.

         phil
