The UBUNTU training that day from 10am-4pm is for trainers (Riley, I hope you are coming!)

I really want people that will be willing to help train in Ubuntu there after.

If Kevin you feel it would be good to attract new blood, then let us list it as:

A TRAINING OF TRAINERS all day workshop is taking place @ Peoples MEDIA Center, Saturday May 10th, from 10am to 4pm SHARP!

It is FREE but those who come in are committing to train others @ the Center! Please call 202-452-5936 and leave your name/phone number to register.

Peoples MEDIA Center-a grassroots media making community center empowering DC through media making, education, financial development and civic service is at 4132 Georgia Avenue, NW Washington DC 20011. That's between Upshur & Taylor, 3 blocks North of the PETWORTH metro on the green & yellow lines, bus #70/71& 64 stop in front of the center, which is next to the SHELL gas station.

Hi Kevin

I am writing you from Idealist to invite you to to a set of workshops
that will be taking place at our DC office this Saturday, May 10th, on:

 - Job Hunt, Network, or Improve Your Non-Profit Resume
 - Travel Internationally and Volunteer On the Cheap
 - Practical Personal Finance for Young People
 - Manage Your Email in Minutes

Idealist is just one of dozens of locations around the city that will
be holding fun, free workshops throughout the day as part of
 Learnapalooza DC 2008.

What is Learnapalooza? The idea is simple: We all have something to
teach each other... and we all have a lot to learn. So for one day,
*anyone* can teach a short workshop on *anything* as long as it's FREE
 and open to the public.

Check out the schedule-in-progress (with more details about our
 workshops) at:

 http://www.learnapaloozadc.com

Got questions? Email info at learnapaloozadc.com

Where's the party? The down-side to an event that's distributed all
over the city is that you don't get to meet as many people as you
would at a centralized event. So, let's meet up for drinks afterward!
 Join us:

 Learnapalooza After-Party
 7-9PM, Saturday May 10th
 Local 16 (1602 U St NW)
$4 drink specials, sponsored by Local 16
 RSVP: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=13031611866

We hope to see you there.

Jake, Julia, and the Idealist team
