Well, it took 6 hours to download.....only 30 minutes to install and cleanup, but I now have 8.04 LTS Xubuntu on a 4 year old emachines laptop. I changed NO hardware, but the resolution seems sharper, much sharper in fact. Firefox 3 is F-A-S-T. I may wait to do my desktop..... Good luck to all, and good night. Have a great weekend. Marti
