Here's my desire:</div><div><br></div><div>I would like to have a beagleboard running Ubuntu attached to a 7" touchscreen monitor. Why? Well I want to build it into the wall in my kitchen so that the wife can have recipes, internet, hulu, audio control, etc. If this is successful I'll do it in other places in the house as well. So I have several questions:</div><div><br></div><div>1. Can Ubuntu on the Beagleboard support a touchscreen, and are there *shudder* ipad style on-screen keyboard solutions that can be had?</div><div><br></div><div>2. How full-featured is Ubuntu on the Beagleboard?</div><div><br></div><div>3. Has anyone done something like this and has words of wisdom?</div><div><br></div><div>4. Does anyone want to play when it comes time to set this up? I think a beer/bbq/beagleboard build would be in order...</div><div><br></div><div>5.
