I've played that game quite a few times on dev machines!<br><br>Aaron-<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, May 26, 2010 at 4:31 PM, David Overcash <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:funnylookinhat@gmail.com">funnylookinhat@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br>

So now the question goes: What is the best method for getting messages whitelisted? Or does that require setting up a solid postfix server with certs ?<div>

It's probably timing out in DNS. Usually that type of delay indicates some dns problem.<div><br></div><div>What does /var/log/messages have to say, or <a href="http://mail.info" target="_blank">mail.info</a>?<br><div>

Hey Guys,<div>So I'm working on getting some new servers setup and running for the startup that I helped launch but I'm having issues with getting a form of mail going. Realistically, all I need is a basic means by which php can call the mail() function and then I'll be good for a while. I've tried installing both sendmail and postfix, but to no avail - whenever I go to test with a simple mail message it just hangs indefinitely. Any suggestions? If someone is willing to get together this weekend to help I'll meet you anywhere in the Denver area.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Cheers,<br><font color="#888888">David</font></div>
