Ahh, ok.<br>I misunderstood your earlier post. It seems Wubi is perfect for those not quite ready to take the plunge of partition management. Thanks for the info on the Alpha release. I believe the alpha is ment to work with Vista as well, unless that is they got 7.04's issues with vista cleared up. I don't keep great tabs on wubi, I'm just a fan of its concept.<br>

The Wubi 7.10 Alpha has the following features.<br>
<br>
* Allows a computer without the ability to boot from CD/DVD to boot a
Live CD.<br>
* Allows you to install Ubuntu 7.10 to a virtual partition like Wubi
7.04 does with Feisty. From personal experience it does this VERY WELL.<br>
* Allows you to chose a different drive to install the virtual
partition to other than C: drive.<br>
* Will download the regular, not the alternate, Gutsy Gibbon ISO file,
but if you have the Gutsy Live CD in a CD/DVD drive Wubi will create a
disk image of it thus shaving 30mins to an hour off the installation
time.<br>

My installation of Gutsy is in a Wubi 7.10 virtual partition. It runs
