Anything is better than nothing so let me know if this is at all an option.
However, I think I'd like to try for a "best case" scenario (like below)
first and go from there.

I contacted someone I know at HP who has helped with this kind of stuff
before but I don't know yet what, if anything, is possible. I think it would
be awesome to have a lab of HP thin clients looking all sleek and sexy.
People tend to judge things - especially tech - on first appearance and a
good looking lab would go a long way toward getting people interested. Our
LTSP lab that we ran at my HS was really cool but the equipment was old
(students called it the ghetto lab). As a result, despite the fact that is
generally ran well many people didn't like using it.
