However - if we don't reach 30 or so people - we have a backup venue in place located in Broomfield. As much as I would hate to change the location last minute - I feel as though it may be the best option if we don't receive more RSVPs.

So we have the upstairs room reserved at Hanson's Pub & Tavern on October 10 (Sunday) from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. They essentially have everything we will need, and Simon (our deputy team lead) will be bringing a projector for us to show off random hackery.

There is one caveat - in order for us to have the room, we need to get a total minimum tab of $400. So - I need a firm yes from anyone who will absolutely attend. In order to keep the clutter down and help me stay organized, please do not post any "maybe" or "no" responses. Not trying to be mean - just trying to keep everything straight. 


If we do not hit at least 30 people or so, I'll go ahead and cancel the reservation. We have one or two backup places that will work - they're just not nearly as good of locations.
