I did. I downloaded both. I tried the pro version first. I haven't tried the
game version yet. I was hoping to get Solidworks to work under it. But, it
doesn't look promising. I might try to see if Solidworks will run under the
games version.

I don't think it is limited to just games. In the pro version it had an
option to install unsupported software. I'm sure the games version has the
same option. The games version actually might work better for my Solidworks
program, since it is fairly intense with graphics it might run closer to a
game.
