Looks like I've got the same thing

lsusb
Bus 005 Device 004: ID 0c45:62c0 Microdia 

I wasn't able to get it working in Edgy [although Ekiga worked]
Then with Feisty it worked just after I upgraded; later something ruined it. However, it works again with the live Hardy CD. [I don't upgrade until lots of the initial rough edges are fixed in the new releases.]
