Bummer...  Yeah, RAID's not a good backup tool, because unfortunately, our hard drives
are much more reliable than we are.  90% of the time I restore data, the problem was
caused by wetware, not hardware or software.  RAID1 is a great way to make the same
mistake twice, faster than you can blink.  :-)

I'm working on a script for you, and a line for your crontab.  I've got the approach
implemented at three different places, but I want to do a scratch rewrite before I hand
it off.
