For any of you using (or interested in) Ubuntu as a server, this is a
great time to contribute to the testing of the great new Hardy
release. As a Long Term Support (LTS) release (5 years on the server,
3 years for desktop-related packages), we especially want this one to
be solid as a server platform, so please help find bugs now rather
than let them be found later....

Subject: The ServerTestingTeam or how to use your shiny new server hardware

Hi,

Hardy Heron Alpha 6 has been released [1] and is waiting to be tried out
on all sorts of server hardware. All it takes is an ubuntu-server iso
download, a default installation, a reboot and a report ! The
ServerTestingTeam [2] wiki pages has more information about the testing
and the reporting procedures.

So if you want to make sure that your gran'ma will be able to install
ubuntu-server on her shiny new server while you spend your summer
vacation at her place, grab a version of the latest ubuntu-server iso
[3] and give it a test run !
