I'm really starting to consider just writing something for you Jim. It
would probably take less than a few hours to be brutally honest.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are the qualities you are looking for:
- Ability to create "trouble tickets"
- Be able to assign tickets to individual users (either an admin assigns
them or a user can assign them to themselves, as defined by the admin)
- When a user logs in they see a page with the tickets assigned to them
- Users have the ability to close tickets assigned to them and can add a
comment explaining their solution or fix for the issue
If that's it, it really becomes simply a matter of two database tables and a
fairly simple PHP frontend.
I have to design a database for a class this semester anyways, actually
implementing it will probably just allot me extra credit.
Let me know if that's what you need,
David
