[CoLoCo] Tax Time Again

Every year we Linux users get the short end of the Tax software stick.
Quicken and Intuit has sold out to the "Evil Empire" and many have even
reported problems with their web page.

Before you break out your Wine, I wanted to share my experience from
last year. I discovered that even though the Standard H&R web page gave
me problems, their Tango service worked near flawlessly for me. It
complained that it did not recognize my browser and I told it to
continue anyway. After that, every feature seemed to work perfectly
without any workarounds for my Linux desktop. All I needed was Firefox.
It even did the electronic filing for me.

I just talked with Tango Support, and they said their service will be up
and running Jan 25. Hopefully, their support of Linux will make using
their service even easier this year. After all, since their competition
does not seem interested in serving the largest growing group of
computer users...

[BTW. this service was even sophisticated enough to handle the schedule
C to report the LLC's (Fighting Penguin) profits]
