Basically it installed Linux into a virtual file system on your hard 
drive rather than a partition but I think they are going to add the 
ability to resize a partition and actually install the full version of 
Ubuntu there.  At least their Q&A section eluded to that idea.  The 
program lets you choose the size of the virtual drive, which version of 
Ubuntu to use (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Edubuntu, UbuntuStudio) and 
even set your username and password before it downloads the Alternative 
ISO image and does the install.
