[CoLoCo] Ubuntu on an external drive a SUCCESS!

Well, you will be happy to hear that I have successfully booted Ubuntu off
my external HDD.
Last night I unplugged my internal drive in my computer, and only plugged my
USB HDD while using the Live-CD. It seemed to install fine. I then tried it
this morning while I was at Front Range. It booted and worked like a charm.
There was no tweaking of GRUB needed. Cool.
I guess the computers at Thompson Valley are too old. Either that or their
BIOS sucks and does not support bootloaders from USB devices. I find that
strange because... their BIOS(s) say they support USB booting.
...hmmm oh well. I guess I will just only be able to use it with newer
systems.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone.
