[CoLoCo] dvd backup help?

And Acid:Rip just creates a shell command to mencoder.  Something like:
mencoder dvd://1 -dvd-device /dev/dvd  -alang English -sid 0
-vobsubout /home/username/directory/subtitlefilename -oac mp3lame
-lameopts abr:br=128  -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:v4mv:vqmin=2:vbitrate=1672 -vf
pp=de,crop=0:0:0:0,scale=640:-2    -o
"/home/username/directory/movie-track1.avi"
