The document I translated this morning had both numbered and bulleted lists... both came over just fine, but I am not sure how they formatted those lists.

I was not aware that OOo would open a .docx file, so I decided to do some testing by creating a .docx document in Word and then viewing it with the OOo Writer tool.
Here are my observations:
- Font size attributes, italics, bold text, and hyperlinks all carry over from Word to OOo with no problem.
- Ordered/Unordered lists and inserted images do not carry over from Word to OOo (at least they did not for me)

However, it is really good to see that there is some amount of compatibility.
