The whole point of Ubuntu was that people shouldn't have to do that in
order to get the OS to work. Demand that manual changing of monitor
settings be designed back into the Screen Resolution dialog and
problem is fixed. Why that feature was removed I have no idea but
whoever made the decision was an idiot.
