[CoLoCo] fixperm for ubuntu?

I goofed and ran a script that did a recursive chown on some important directories.

It's a long sad story. All I can say is don't do important sysadmin stuff at 0300, and also beware of embedded spaces in directory names.

Anybody know how to fix this?

RPM-based distros have a utility called fixperm that helps recovery from this sort of problem. Does Ubuntu have something similar? Maybe some arcane feature of dpkg?
