[CoLoCo] Music composition in Linux?

Hey all.

Just curious as to if anyone has experience with doing MIDI, Loops & Samples, and things like that in Linux.

Also, if there in any suggested hardware (keyboards, etc)

I'm really trying to avoid the Windows/Mac avenue, but they have so many useful apps.

No, an intervention won't be necessary ;)
