I considered Fluxbuntu, but couldn't find any versions yet for powerPCs (try
their site and you'll see what I mean).  I have had success with running
Xubuntu 6.10, though, on old G3s and G4s.  It runs WAY better than the Mac
OS 9.2 that was on them.

I did have to consult the forums, though, to figure it all out.  This thread
was absolutely essential:

I use the old mac keyboards, but prefer a three button mouse :-)
