I read recently that Microsoft has lost a case in India over taxation of 
sales of Windows.  Microsoft claims the sales of Windows are in fact 
"purchases and are royalty free", however the wording of the Windows End 
User License Agreement which clearly says Windows isn't purchased but is 
"licensed" worked against them.  They're trying to appeal the decision 
but if that fails MS will be forced to pay several hundred million 
dollars in back taxes and will have to pay taxes for each "license" of 
Windows sold.

So, how soon do you think Microsoft will change the Windows EULA because 
of this incident?  It would be so like them to do that in order to avoid 
paying taxes.
