Not exactly what you are looking for but I have a script on my blog
that prints your system specs in a term, pauses for some number of
seconds for you to position things and then takes the screenshot. It
has a small bug with respect to uptime (anyone know how to fix?) but
otherwise works. Details are on this page -->
