version can run server applications. Basically no difference, except for how
they’re packaged, afaik. The server edition contains most server-related
packages (you’d have to download anything for a GUI), while the desktop version
contains most desktop-related packages (anything server related would have to

newer. And you cannot compare the support of Ubuntu to Debian.<br>
IIRC the only think that is different in Server Edition to Desktop is that
Server edition has no GUI and includes some server applications that you can
install in ubuntu desktop edition. I have tried it before and I dont see the
