Clarification question, not meant as a snide remark or an answer -<br><br>Why are you installing KDE to an Ubuntu Server install?<br>Why not just use KUbuntu?<br><br>If you're looking for a super lightweight desktop, try xfce or if you really want performance and don't care about looks, try icewm <br><br>Back when I was a starving college student, (before I became a starving adult open-source developer) I ran icewm on my p2-300 I had cobbled together from trash parts.
