All-        In my opinion there are two strategies to help spread Ubuntu.First, show the people around you what Ubuntu can do for them. Parents, relatives, and clients make a good start. These people will talk to others about it and help pave the way for more and more people at the "User" level. The other method that will help gain more members of the Chi-Ubuntu group is to show people with advanced knowledge of computers, such as LAN Gamers, Industry Co-Workers, and Small Business. I know there are plenty small computer shops that use linux as a base operating system for their clients so why not Ubuntu. Some LAN Gamers would jump at the chance to play games on linux because of the 1337ness factor, and Industry Co-Workers may be on a distro already, however don't bash their distro just suggest they "Try" Ubuntu. If we use these strategies I feel we can start at the top and bottom and then meet in the middle. I also think we need to work on the way we present it to people. We can't just go around shoving it in peoples faces telling them they wont get spyware and it's gonna beat M$ into the ground. Out of 100 people if you handed them a cd of Ubuntu 50 would throw it away, 30 would  think it was software they install in Windows, 15 would understand it as an OS and not want to install it over Windows, and the other 5 might actually try it. We need a better deployment strategy, and basic instruction sheet. Maybe we can make signs and post them on the side of the road, NO MORE VIRUS, SPYWARE, or ADWARE! Call Now! FREE FREE FREE NSA.
