Hey Ubuntu-ers,
Short-time lurker, first time writer.
First of all, this is a job posting, so if it's inappropriate read no
farther and let me know.

Second, I'm posting on the Chicago Ubuntu list, because I'm in Chicago
and I want somebody who knows how to use a computer and not just how to
choose between "Next" and "Cancel".

I work for Earthcomber (www.earthcomber.com). We write software for
mobile devices that find stuff (restaurants, lava flows, etc.) around
you. We need developers that know how to use open source tools (Eclipse,
Tomcat, Apache, Struts/Spring). Most of our stuff is in Java except for
the Palm and Windows Mobile clients which is written in C++. Our
development environment is Ubuntu (Breezy to Feisty). Non-geeks do run
Windows, but we treat them poorly. We don't care if your low on
experience or been doing this for a decade, we just care that your smart.

If you think this sounds good, e-mail me back. Also, if posting a job
like this is OK and you want me to post more details, reply on list.

Thanks,
Randy Wilson

P.S. Looking forward to the meeting on the 17th.
